/ THE SITUATION
In the fall of 2019, Basic Grains approached me to help launch their new protein-packed snack chip line, Impulses. For Basic Grains, the chip represented an opportunity to launch a brand of their own instead of only focussing on their private label snack food business.
/ THE SOLUTION
With an ExpoEast product launch a mere three weeks away, the pressure was intense!
I had to design a logo (naturally), design packaging for their intended 6 flavours, do some photoshop wizardry to hobble together product photography from stock images and create realistic-looking mockups for marketing use.
Three weeks later the Impulses brand made its debut at ExpoEast!
/ THE RESULT
Staff gave out product samples and made meetings with interested retail buyers and Impulses was on its way! Unfortunately, the company had some internal issues to deal with and the launch was postponed.
